Here’s how you can use the service:

Subscribe to the U-monitor service:

To subscribe on your phone, follow these steps:

  • Text SUB to 6464
  • You will receive confirmation messages from Ufone 4G
  • Now add the child’s number following the procedure sent to you in the messages.
  • You will receive confirmation notification once the number is successfully added.
  • You can create a whitelist for the child numbers.
  • Get calls from whitelisted numbers only.

Service charges:

Prepaid: Rs. 5+tax/week.
Postpaid: Rs. 20 +tax/month.

  • What is the U-monitor service?
  • The U-monitor service allows you to monitor all incoming calls on the number that you choose to add as your child’s number.
  • How can I subscribe to the service?
  • Text SUB to 6464 to subscribe. You will get a response from 6676.
  • Which phone supports U-monitor service?
  • Any mobile phone can be used to subscribe to this service.
  • Do I need Wi-Fi to use this service?
  • No, Wi-Fi is not required to use this service.
  • If I switch networks, will I still be able to use this service?
  • No, this service can only be used if you are using a Ufone 4G SIM
  • What if I don’t have any balance on my mobile phone?
  • If the balance for the service is unavailable, you will not be able to subscribe to the service.
  • I accidentally got subscribed to the service, how can I unsubscribe it?
  • Text UNSUB to 6464 to unsubscribe. You will get a response from 6676.
  • How will I know how to use the service?
  • Text MENU to 6676 to get all the commands.
  • How many child numbers can I add?
  • Maximum 3 numbers can be added as the child’s numbers.
  • How can I create a whitelist?
  • Text MENU to 6676 and press 2 to add the whitelist.
  • How many numbers can I add to the whitelist?
  • Maximum 11 numbers can be added to the whitelist.
  • I was charged for subscription but my service is not working?
  • Call the helpline for a resolution.
  • This service is available for all prepaid & postpaid Ufone customers.
  • The service is accessible on all kinds of handsets.
  • Charges are exclusive of taxes.
  • U-monitor is a recursive product.
  • Multiple subscriptions are not allowed.
  • Customer can send SUB to 6464 to subscribe to the product.
  • The UMonitor service will only be applicable on incoming and outgoing calls of monitored MSISDN.
  • Only the Monitoring subscribers can remove the monitored subscriber. The monitored subscribers cannot remove themselves if they have given consent to be added to the service.
