ISLAMABAD: Dec 9th, 2011 – The growing relations between Pakistan and UAE in trade and other industries have paved the way for strengthening the economy of the two states. UAE being one of Pakistan's major trading partners and the second largest source of home remittances from Pakistani emigrants working in UAE, the bonding of the two nations is a significant stepping stone towards the betterment of both nations and their respective industries. These growing liaisons also provide ample opportunities to further strengthen bilateral ties.

In order to cherish this cordial and mutually rewarding relationship and to explore more avenues of joint collaborations, the Consulate of the United Arab Emirates organized UAE Expo 2011 from November 30 to December 02, 2011 at Expo Centre Karachi where Ufone along with PTCL was the Gold sponsors for the event.

To further reiterate its stronghold in the telecom industry, Ufone’s stall displayed a variety of Ufone BlackBerry Handsets and promoted services such as restoration of BlackBerry Services. Services such as Utrack, business SMS and IDD offer UAE were showcased to display their unique and impressive options to the visitors. Apart from the services, handsets such as UthFutura, Nokia N9 and various HTC handsets launched by Ufone were also exhibited at the stall to ensure that the onlookers got the real-time look at feel of the handsets.
