Beware of any SMS which contains a string like '03332597334u2u50' or any call that asks you to give the number on the back of a scratch card as this is fraud and will cause you a loss. Remember, if you receive any such SMS or calls call 333 from your Ufone immediately. Attention all Ufone Prepaid and Postpay customers! As per new Government Income Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2011, withholding tax upon each Prepaid balance recharge and Postpay bill payment has been decreased from 11.5% to 10%. This new tax amendment is applicable from 1st July, 2011. Note: From 15th July 2011, calls to 333 from prepaid numbers will be charged at Re. 1 + tax per call.
